FISHING AND PADDLING TRIPS

SPRING FED RIVER TUCKED IN THE WESTERN EDGE OF THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY.

The Rio Medina is a spring fed river tucked in the western edge of the Texas Hill Country. It flows for 120 miles into the San Antonio river.

The Medina is shallow and narrow which makes it a great river for GO Outside’s guided kayak/wade trips. We target largemouth, smallmouth, and Guadalupe bass as well as carp, gar, and various types of perch and focus on sections below Medina Lake which is just west of San Antonio and south of Bandera.

We focus on sections below Medina Lake which is just west of San Antonio and south of Bandera. The Medina offers remote paddling options in a beautiful Hill Country setting. We offer half and full day paddling trips for both experienced and beginner paddlers.
